How to calculate a notice period from a contract

Formula

Renewal date = start date + term. Last day to cancel = renewal date − notice period.

Traps

• Notice period counted in business days, not calendar days.
• Notice required "before the renewal date" vs "before the end of the term" — check which.
• Notice must be delivered by a specific method (registered mail, in-app form).
